7 special sections highlight what’s hot for fall. Like "Into the Woods" – a selection of romantic storybook-perfect capelets – that fabled fashion accessory of once upon a time - to make you feel like Little Red Riding Hood all grown up. There’s a section featuring patterns using elegant yet simple stitches, a nod to combining lace and luxury yarns, a large selection of designs featuring vertical detailing for a long, lithe silhouette, and a special feature highlighting the “Magic of Mohair” design winners. A great issue, not to be missed!

Look and live like a storybook heroine in this romantic fashion accessory. Featured on the cover of the Early Fall 2011 Edition of Vogue Knitting Magazine, Yoko Hatta’s Cropped Capelet features vertically spiraling cables topped with seed-stitch filled lattice work. Finished with a crocheted chain that gently cinches ribs encircling your neck, it’s the perfect piece to wear while on your way through the woods to visit Gramma’s house - watch out for the Big Bad Wolf.
Yoko made her capelet in Lorna’s Lace’s Shepherd’s Worsted, “Poppy” – a gorgeously luscious, rich orange hue. And we have it for you, too. Or choose any of the lovely colorways of this extra-soft, hand-dyed yarn from Lorna’s Laces – makers of “pretty string.”
