Crochet Mushrooms: Shaping in the Round

Learn all about crochet shaping in the round while making whimsical little mushrooms! In this two-hour class, we’ll explore how increases and decreases impact shape, how to track the beginning and end of a round, and joining the cap to the stem.
Prerequisite skills. The Mushroom class is intended as a next steps in crochet once you’ve mastered the basics - casting on, chaining, single and double crochet, understanding symbols and reading a pattern.
Supplies you’ll need. 25 grams DK weight 100% cotton yarn in two colors (we recommend Sirdar’s Happy Cotton), US C (2.75mm), D (3.25mm), or E (3.5mm) hook, and Mushroom Amigurumi pattern (available for purchase on Ravelry; www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/mushroom-amigurumi-10). Stuffing will be provided.
