Da Crofter's Kep – An Adventure in Shetland’s Fair Isle Knitting Via Zoom Sunday February 6th, 1-3:30pm PST
|Availability:||In stock (2)|
Master the stranded colorwork technique and learn to knit the official pattern of Shetland Wool Week 2021 – an event held annually in Scotland’s Shetland Islands, celebrating its native wool and associated crafts. Each year, the festival’s chosen patron creates a special hat design; in 2021, that honor was once again awarded to Shetland native Wilma Malcolmson. Her beautiful ‘Da Crofter's Kep’ uses six colors of Shetland sourced wool, combined to great effect in this lovely Fair Isle pattern. The perfect project for those new to stranded color knitting and experienced color aficionados alike! Join Michele as she guides you through the skills needed for making your very own Kep.
