Knitted log cabin squares take their inspiration from their quilted cousins. Once you know how to make them, you can take off in many directions! We’ll start with the simple garter stitch log cabin square, and then we’ll discuss the many ways you can use these squares, or alter them to make them your own.

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner. You should already know how to: knit/purl and cast on/bind off. This is not a learn to knit class.

Supplies you'll need. Worsted weight yarn (leftovers are fine) in at least 3 colors, but 5 colors would maximize your possibilities. Needles appropriate for your yarn and tension, probably US 7 or 8. Scissors. A handout containing notes, tips, and a basic log cabin pattern is included in your class fee. You will need to print your pattern or download it onto a device that is separate from your Zoom device so you can refer to it during class.

Once registered, you’ll receive an email with a class handout, and Zoom information. Class size is limited to 12, unless otherwise stated.

A full refund will be given when cancelled at least 7 days prior to the scheduled class.  Because class size is limited and instructor fees are committed in advance based on enrollment, refunds will not be issued for cancellations within one week of the scheduled class.
