The traditional Selbuvotter mittens of Norway are stunning to see and uncommonly comfortable to wear, with good reason: Their special architecture has evolved over time for nearly-perfect anatomical correctness. Join self-professed stranded colorwork junkie Mary Scott Huff for this 3-hour session to learn interesting history, simple techniques, and as always, sexy party tricks to knit your own. Joining us from Portland, Oregon, Mary is the author of six books about knitting, including The Mitten Handbook. An incredible knitting experience with an amazingly talented instructor - not to be missed!

Supplies you’ll need – 1 set each US 2 (2.75mm) and US3 (3.25mm) DPNs, waste yarn, locking stitch markers. The Nordica Mitten Kit (Norwegian Rauma yarn to make a pair of mittens, along with the pattern) is included in your class fee. Shipping fees are not included and will be invoiced seperately.

Once registered, you’ll receive an email with a class handout, and Zoom information. Class size is limited to 24, unless otherwise stated.

A refund, less the cost of the kit and pattern will be given when cancelled at least 7 days prior to the scheduled class.  Because class size is limited and instructor fees are committed in advance based on enrollment, refunds will not be issued for cancellations within one week of the scheduled class.
