Halfway through both our Explore the Rainbow year AND our actual rainbow. That means deep greens, baby! The kind of greens you see in a mid-summer hike through the Enchanted Forest of your dreams.
This month, we’re making some fun and funky fingerless mitts, pairing one of our fave greens ever, Oscar the Grouch with Enchanted Forest. These two colors look so fabulous in Shannon’s easy slip-stitch mitts pattern, Dreamer Mitts, we're dreaming of all the different ways one can stripe the 2 colors together! We did thick color blocking sections, working 12 rounds plain of each colorway for a striking stripey pattern. Make those sections as long or as short as you’d like. And 2 skeins is plenty of yarn to make several different pairs.
Your kit includes:
- 2 skeins of Knitted Wit Sock (US sourced sheep to skein, 80% SW Merino, 20% Nylon, 420 yards / 115 grams), one a solid color (Oscar the Grouch) and the other a variegated color (Enchanted Forest)
- A code to download the Dreamer Mitts pattern (printed on the inside of the ball band).
