A hesitant convert at first, my knitting journey is now heavily sprinkled with all sorts of projects involving strands of color. Let me share just a few nuggets I've learned along the way.
This past holiday season, I wrapped upwards of 100 Christmas presents, baked cookies and spiced nuts, decorated a 12-foot Christmas tree, hung stockings, went to the Nutcracker with my granddaughters, and did all the other things that are Christmas. Amidst the oh-so-joyous-but exhausting holiday rituals, I also managed to get some making done. Ho! Ho! Ho!
'Tis the season. Time with those you love. Listen to timeless (and sometimes hokey) Christmas music. Eat. Decorate. Shop. And reflect on the things that we're grateful for. I have quite a few.
5, 4, 3, 2, ONE!!!!! Who can resist a good countdown. And what could be better than a fiberlicious countdown to Santa?!
Back from vacation, and right into the bag of mini skeins for the next little creature. Imagined Landscapes' tenth Mystery Knit-Along started on September 4th, and I'm all in!
