Instructor - Shelly Dinh
It’s back in vogue, and all the rage. Learn to masterfully wield a hook in this 2-hour beginner’s crochet class. Shelly will teach you the basics of crochet, including how to make the basic chain, single, and double crochet stitches, all while making a handy dandy dishcloth. Time permitting, she'll also cover some basic pattern reading skills.
Prerequisite skills. Students should know how to make a slip knot.
Supplies you’ll need. Light colored DK weight cotton yarn (we recommend Rowan’s Handknit Cotton), a US7 (4.5mm) or US H (5.0mm) crochet hook, tapestry needle for finishing, and scissors. Dishcloth pattern is included your class fee.
*This is an in-person class, held at For Yarn’s Sake. $55, plus supplies.
