Fun Stitches for Assigned Color Pooling
Sunday November 15
2 to 4PM
Michele Lee Bernstein (PDXKnitterati)
Jump on the pooling band wagon! Assigned Pooling is the hot new knitting technique, judging by the recent and prolific influx of new yarns on the market specifically dyed to pool. Learn how to make these gorgeous yarns work for you with this collection of stitches, and how to adjust your stitches to work with your specific yarn. We’ll use the Starfall cowl pattern as a canvas for playing with several assigned pooling stitches.
Prerequisite Skills. Knit/purl, cast on/bind off, and work in the round.
This is an in-person class held at For Yarn's Sake.
$55, plus supplies.
Supplies you'll need. One skein fingering weight yarn, dyed for assigned pooling, 16" or 24” US 5 (3.75 mm) circular needle, or size to get a fabric you like, one stitch marker to note beginning of round, and the Starfall pattern (sold on Ravelry HERE). Once you sign up for class, you'll receive a class handout that includes a code for 30% off the pattern.
