Madelinetosh Hue of the Moment 2025

MadTosh already has a pretty extensive library of colors, but there's no such thing as too many colors. This is where Hue of the Moment comes in. Each month, a new hand-dyed shade (or shades!) debuts, lives on this page for a short time before it going back into the MadTosh color vault.

Each month, we'll have the Hue of the Moment available in both Twist Light (Plied 75% SW Merino, 25% Nylon; 420 yards / 100 grams) and Tosh Merino Light (Single-ply 100% SW Merino, 420 yards / 100 grams), with the occasional appearance of a third MadTosh base. And during the Hue of the Moment's debut month, a free pattern that showcases the colorway.

• October 2025 - Plaid to the Bone. Our favorite plaid just went rogue! A moody fall hue with campfire heat, and just enough grit to keep it interesting. A streak of rebellion in every skein. For October, also available in Biggie - the newest big girl yarn from MadTosh (Superbulky 100% SW Merino single ply, 90 yards / 150 grams).
• September 2025 - Soft Reboot. September doesn’t ease in, it hits reset. Soft Reboot is washed-out pink colliding with static purple—like a photocopy that’s been run one too many times. Late-night screen glow, hazy edges, a little broken, a little beautiful. It’s moody minimalism with an attitude—made to stitch outside the lines. For September, also available in Woolcycle Sport (4-ply sport weight 100% Upcycled Superwash Wool, 329 yards / 100 grams).

• June 2025 - Dill With It. June's hue celebrates the condiment that makes everything better. A garden-fresh green with a tangy twist. Think baby cucumbers, backyard brine, and full-sour energy. Hey y'all, this gherkin's twerkin'!
• May 2025 - Cloudy with a Chance of Rainbows. Forecast calls for considerable cloudiness w/ intervals of prismatic optimism throughout the day. 10% percent chance of silver linings late afternoon, followed by periods of ROYGBIV (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet). A skein that's half stormy weather and half over the rainbow. Also available in Black Rainbow (black background) and Pocket Rainbow (white background). • April 2025 - Puddle Jumper. A soft blend of silver and sky blue with delicate flecks of pink and plum—like light bouncing off rain-soaked sidewalks. A silver cloud with a lipstick lining. Take the plunge!
• March 2025 - Shell Yeah. A moody sea, gulls calling. The happenstance gifts of tiny shells, a bit of sea glass, the soft ear of a baby in your arms who makes you sigh, Shell Yeah. For March, also available in Wool + Cotton (50% SW Merino 50% Pima Cotton DK weight, 219 yards / 100 grams).
• February 2025 - Pizza My Heart. A heart-shaped pizza. Flowers wilting on a table. A tattered card in all its wrenching shades of pink, cherry, and doily. Happy Valentines (or Gallentines) Day! • January 2025 - Natural Cover. The color of decay and renewal, of early morning coffee, twilight, & wiley does grazing on public land, hiding in plain sight. A little subversive. Inspired by camo.
