Madelinetosh Hue of the Moment 2026
| Availability: | In stock (3) |
MadTosh already has a pretty extensive library of colors, but there's no such thing as too many colors. This is where Hue of the Moment comes in. Each month, a new hand-dyed shade (or shades!) debuts, lives on this page for a short time before it going back into the MadTosh color vault.
Each month, we'll have the Hue of the Moment available in both Twist Light (Plied 75% SW Merino, 25% Nylon; 420 yards / 100 grams) and Tosh Merino Light (Single-ply 100% SW Merino, 420 yards / 100 grams), with the occasional appearance of a third MadTosh base. And during the Hue of the Moment's debut month, a free pattern that showcases the colorway.
January '26 - Thaw Me Later. Layers of blue echo the feeling of pulling the covers over your head when the world feels too loud. Knit with 2 skeins of Tosh DK, the Snowmelt Scarf is designed for quiet moments when you'd rather drift than defrost.
February '26 - Swipe Right. Inspired by late night texts, modern romance, and one more swipe just in case, this hue is for the optimists who keep believing anyway. Swipe Right blends dark plum doubt with bright, stubborn hope. Available in Tosh Sock (100% SW Merino Wool, 462 yards, 130 grams), as well as the usuals - TML and Twist Light. Cast it on with the Love Language Shawl, your free pattern with purchase of Swipe Right during the month of February. 2 skeins, and let your stitches say what words sometimes don't.
March '26 - Buzzer Buster. March's HOTM, Buzzer Beater plays fast and loud, with deep black tones broken by flashes of neon and high-impact brights. The kind of colorway that thrives under presure and steals the spotlight at the final horn. Pair Buzzer Buster with the free Final Shot Shawl pattern, knit with two skeins of Tosh Vintage (100% SW Merino, 200 yards), and get game ready!
April '26 - No Rainchecks. April's doing what it does best - keeping you guessing! No Rainchecks drifts through stormy blues, soft rose, and grounded neutrals like a sky that can't quite make up its mind. Moody, shifting, and just a little hopeful. With cozy ribbing, a slouchy fit, and a playful pom-pom, this single skein hat is a fun knit for whatever the weather throws your way. Free pattern with April HOTM.
