One Color at a Time Colorwork
Sunday October 25
2-4pm
Michele Lee Bernstein (PDXKnitterati)

Keep your knitting simple! You can make a colorful knit while working only one strand at a time. While creating a swatch, we’ll explore garter and stockinette stripes, fancy stripes (textures), interrupted stripes (slip stitch knitting), and perhaps even a bit of brioche rib. After an afternoon with Michele, you’ll never again have to juggle multiple colors in a row/round to create beautiful colorwork!

Supplies you’ll need. 50g/150 yards sport or DK weight yarn in each of 3 colors, a 24” circular (not straight!) needles in the appropriate size for your yarn, stitch markers. Michele will provide a Strandless Colorwork handout.

Pre-Class Homework. Choose one of your three colors and begin to knit your swatch as follows - cast on 32 stitches, knit 3 rows, and purl 1 row.

This is an in-person class, held at For Yarn’s Sake.
$55, plus supplies.
