We're delighted to once again bring you a holiday hat kit from Simply Shetland and Scotland's darling, Gudrun Johnston.
Yöl Moorie features Shetland-inspired colorwork in a warm festive palette, and comes with instructions for two versions - a beret and a beanie. Both hats can be made from the 5 balls of yarn included in the kit by changing the color placement.
Curious about the name? Yöl Moorie is a blend of two Shetlandic words - 'Yöl' meaning yuletime/festive season, and 'Moorie' being the word for a blizzard!
