The Fern Cowl Kit is a collaborative effort between Madelinetosh and Alabama Chanin's The School of Making. Norah Gaughan designed a beautiful nature inspired cowl exclusively for this kit. The yarn is MadTosh's newest base, Wool+Cotton, dyed in a brand new custom-for-this-collaboration colorway, "Plain Cake." The inspiration for this lovely new color comes from a delicious slice of cake that Laura Zander (the genius behind Madelinetosh) indulged in whilst visiting The Factory (Alabama Chanin).
Each kit includes:
- 3 skeins of Wool+Cotton (50% SW Merino Wool / 50% Pima Cotton, 219 yards / 100 grams, 20-22 stitches on US 6-7), 2 Plain Cake, 1 Oak;
- Norah Gaughan's Fern Cowl pattern;
- A recipe to bake your own Plain Cake.
