Andrea Mowry's Across the Pond cowl combines several different techniques - colorwork, mosaic, and lace knitting.  As described by the designer herself, "A cowl is the perfect canvas for trying out some new techniques, and mosaic knitting is a favorite of mine!"  And Spincycle's Dyed In the Wool yarn takes colorwork to the next level, with subtle changes as the colors gradually morph from one to another.  The eyelet pattern used for the solid section balances perfectly with the herringbone mosaic work.  A perfect go to piece to wear with a t-shirt and your favorite jeans, or dressed up for an evening out on the town.

 

Each kit includes:

  • 1 skein Spincycle's Dyed in the Wool (200 yards / 50 grams; 100% Merino Wool) in our For Yarn's Sake exclusive colorway, Goddess.
  • 2 skeins Kelbourne Woolens' Andorra (2-ply 185 yards / 50 grams; 60% Merino Wool, 20% Highland Wool, 20% Mohair) in the colorway, Snow White.
